Okay, so not exactly a ton has happened since I’ve last posted, but I’ve got a bunch of pictures to show you!
So my first big annoucement:
WE FINALLY OFFICIALLY HAVE A HOUSE. I REPEAT, WE WILL NOT BE HOMELESS UARTS STUDENTS NEXT YEAR.
We’ll be living near South Street, very close to Super Fresh and Whole Foods. (HUGE plus, so we won’t be spending money going out to eat!) It’s not as nice as the original house that we found on Catherine; however, at $300/month for 2,000 ft place, who really cares? It definitely is going to need to be fixed, but here are a few pictures of our new humble abode.

So, the week went by quickly, once again and Friday we had the day off. Sweet! First 3 day weekend pretty much the entire year. It was for President Sean T. Buffington’s inauguration. I really wanted to sleep in, but decided it’s a special event so I might as well wake up early and support the school. It was 2 hours at the Merriam and there was some really cool stuff. After at the reception, they had tons of free food including free sushi, which was delicious. I’m huge on sushi, and free sushi is even better. I also went to the Obama rally at Independence Mall. It started 2 hours later than scheduled, but it was still awesome. Devon’s boyfriend, Gabe, came again this weekend. So we went a lot of time going to different parks such as Ritten house, Love Park, and just venturing around. Saturday night we went to one of the last parties of the year. It was GQ style so we had to look nice. Unfortunately, I decided to run there so my hair was totally wind blown the whole night. Oh well, I wasn’t really trying to impress anyone. We had fun and that’s all that matters! So here’s some pictures of us looking really sexy, right?

Today, I woke up to sign the lease, but found out that we have to have our parents co-sign so we have to scan it, sign it, fax it, blah, blah, blah. Then we can print it out, sign it, give our checks. So, I guess we don’t really officially own the place yet. So, I ushered The Best Man this afternoon. The last time I will have to mandatorily usher for the school! Woohoo! Anyway, was that the most relevant piece of theatre I’ve ever seen? It was all about the democratic primary to get elected to be the nominee. They switched so it was a female against a male and the female was all about mud slinging. Hmmm. Sound familiar? Now, I’m trying to figure out how to get my song and monologue audition into 3 minutes. I’m having a little trouble, but I’ll figure it out before Wednesday. So, that’s it for now. I’ll let you know how the auditions go. Hopefully I’ll get into something this semester! Cross your fingers for me.
